2025 Recycling Schedule
Marilungo Disposal, LLC, is our contracted hauler and will still be picking up recycling monthly. The days are based on the first full week of each month that start with Sunday for 2025 and the days are as follows:
Mondays are in the areas of Hopwood, Jumonville, Coolspring, Laurel Terrace, Homewood Terrace, Lemont Furnace, Morgan Station, Youngstown, Shady Grove, Mount Braddock and Piper Hollow. Pick up dates: 1/6/2025; 2/3/2025; 3/3/2025; 4/7/2025; 5/5/2025; 6/2/2025; 7/7/2025; 8/4/2025; 9/8/2025; 10/6/2025; 11/3/2025 and 12/8/2025.
Tuesdays are in the area of N. Gallatin Avenue, N. Gallatin Avenue Ext., Bute Road, Oliver #1, Oliver #3, Springwood, West Leisenring, Bethelboro, Evans Manor, Ruby View, Connellsville St. and Road, University Drive, Country Roads between Bute Road and Route 119. Pick up dates: 1/7/2025; 2/4/2025; 3/4/2025; 4/8/2025; 5/6/2025; 6/3/2025; 7/8/2025; 8/5/2025; 9/9/2025; 10/7/2025; 11/4/2025 and 12/9/2025.
Wednesdays are in the area of Brownwood City, Phillips, Holiday Mobile Park, Vances Mill Road Area, Route 51 to Route 40 (to Menallen and South Union Twp Lines) all side streets and country roads. Pick up dates: 1/8/2025; 2/5/2025; 3/5/2025; 4/9/2025; 5/7/2025; 6/4/2025; 7/9/2025; 8/6/2025; 9/10/2025; 10/8/2025; 11/5/2025 and 12/10/2025.

If you happen to miss your collection day, the Fayette County Recycling Program does have “Keep Fayette County Green” dumpsters set up within our township at the following locations: North Union Township Municipal Building; Fayette County Recycling Convenience Center 105 Romeo Lane off Route 51; Penn State Fayette Campus near the Office of the Chancellor; Marshall Elementary School parking lot area; Clark Elementary School parking lot area and the Laurel Highlands High School parking lot behind the Administration Building.
